You may only add (or re-add) household members in specific circumstances:

Approved reasonable accommodation
To request the addition of someone to your household, you must provide:
1. A completed Interim Change Packet
2. Supporting documents, which may include:

Birth certificate
- Photo ID (Adults)

Social Security card
- Marriage certificate
-
Custody or court documents (e.g., adoption, custody or guardianship papers)

Declaration 214 (included in the packet)

Reasonable accommodation documentation (if applicable)

You must also provide income verification. If the person you're adding (such as a child) receives income (e.g., Social Security, SSI), you must include proof of that income.
Once your request is received, DCA will review and verify eligibility under the program.
* Interims are processed within 30 days of receipt.
Please Note: If your request is denied and the individual still resides in your unit, your family may face proposed termination and loss of your voucher.
