⚠️WHAT’S HAPPENING
IMPORTANT: HUD Extends DCA’s EHV Program through December
HUD has confirmed that DCA will receive funding for the EHV program through December 2026. EHV tenants and landlords should discuss options for extending their tenancy as soon as possible. Tenants will need to immediately notify their DCA Housing Specialist of any changes to their vacate date.
This extension does not mean the EHV program will continue past December 2026. Final EHV payments will go out on December 1, 2026. On January 1, 2027, DCA will not have funding to continue paying your rental assistance.
Please note: This program extension is not a Tenant Protection Voucher (TPV). HUD is working on the TPV program, and DCA will update EHV recipients as soon as instructions are available.
Help is available to assist EHV tenants with alternative long term housing options, including referral to housing navigation.
If you have EHV questions, you can visit the EHV web page, reach out to ehvsupport@dcaga.zendesk.com, or email one of our program staff directly.
